The National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), chartered, has released its line-up of major annual events, urging credit management professionals, credit using, granting and regulatory communities to participate in what it described as its “most compelling gatherings of the year.”
The Institute, generally perceived as super innovative and proactive, highlighted five flagship programmes scheduled across different months, each designed to advance credit management professional development, foster industry collaboration, and strengthen Nigeria’s credit ecosystem. NICA emphasized that these events offer exceptional benefits, including high-level networking with captains of industries and business leaders, access to expert insights on economic and credit-related, opportunities for professional development, and direct engagement with policymakers, regulators and professional entities involved in shaping the nation’s credit and financial systems. Attendees also stand to enhance their visibility in the industry and explore valuable business and partnership opportunities.
Activities will commence in March with the Eminent Business Networking Evening, an exclusive interactive platform for directors and senior executives, industry leaders, and credit experts to exchange insights and build strategic relationships.
The Nigeria Credit Economic Forum, slated for June, is expected to convene economists, policy-makers, credit and financial analysts, business owners/entrepreneurs and credit practitioners to deliberate on national credit economic trends and their impact on the people.
In September, the Institute will host Nigeria Credit Industry Awards, celebrating outstanding credit management and business professionals, institutions, and innovations that continue to shape the country’s credit landscape.
The calendar also features the Credit Management Educational Fair in October, which will provide learning opportunities in credit administration management, executive research presentations, and professional academic development sessions in the field of credit management for both emerging and established credit managers.
Activities will climax in November with the National Credit Managers Conference, the Institute’s largest annual convergence of practitioners, stakeholders, and academics in the field of credit management.
NICA encouraged members, partners, and the general public to participate fully, noting that further enquiries may be directed to its official email, website, and mobile contact lines provided in the announcement.
