The National Institute of Credit Administration, chartered by Act No. 26 of 2022, speaks to you today with one message:
The law is credit. The future is credit. And NICA is building it. For too long, cash has constrained our dreams. Credit is the blood, the life wire of every modern economy. It builds homes, funds enterprises, and creates jobs in which every citizen is right at the centre.
Under the NICA Act, credit is no longer informal, and it is no longer optional. It is now a licensed profession, a regulated system, and a national economic strategy. To every professional, entrepreneur, and business leader: Your future access to capital depends on credit discipline. Your nation’s prosperity depends on it. NICA is laying the tracks for Nigeria’s credit-based economy. We are producing credit management professionals, enforcing the standards, and protecting the trust.
