Dr. Abigail Abiona Osunmakinde, now a fellow of the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA) chartered, is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience spanning product development, business development, marketing, sales, people and stakeholder management. Driven by a passion for impact, her career objective is to make meaningful contributions to the organizations she serves and to society at large, while leveraging her competencies, skills, and experience in dynamic sectors such as banking, international non-governmental organizations, and telecommunications.
She is an alumna of the University of Lagos, where she earned both a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Educational Administration. Her strong academic foundation has provided her with a unique blend of analytical, administrative, and leadership skills, which she has consistently applied throughout her career to deliver value, foster growth, and drive organizational success.
Dr. Abigail Abiona Osunmakinde has built a distinguished track record in human capital and business strategy. She previously served as Dean, Specialized Banking Schools at First Academy, before advancing to the role of Team Lead, HR Strategy & Subsidiary Management at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. Currently, she is a Senior Human Resource Business Partner, where she provides strategic business development insights and delivers expertise that aligns people, processes and performance with organizational objectives.
